We’re thrilled to announce that the film “Last Call”, starring our very own fifth-year student Maitiú Mc Coy, will be showcased at the Palais Cinema in Galway on June 6th. This achievement is truly remarkable for Maitiú, and it undoubtedly marks the beginning of many exciting casting opportunities for him as a budding actor.
In this poignant production, Maitiú takes on a central role as the son of a doctor who grapples with heavy drinking. Their relationship becomes the heart of the story as Maitiú’s character helps his father break through and seek assistance. It’s a touching narrative, and we’re immensely proud here at Mary Immaculate to witness Maitiú’s growth and talent.
