Transition Year Students Return After a Week of Adventure

Our Transition Year students have returned home after a fantastic week filled with adventure and memorable experiences.

The week began on Tuesday with an exciting trip to the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, County Offaly. A huge thank you to Mr. Conway and Mr. Malone for accompanying the students. The day was thoroughly enjoyable, made even better by the students’ exemplary behaviour, which contributed to a positive experience for all. Thankfully, the rain held off too!

After a quick turnaround and a freshly packed bag, the group set off for Killary Adventure Centre in Leenane, County Galway on Wednesday. The students had a brilliant time taking part in activities such as archery, bog runs, high ropes, and a lively evening drumming session to wind down.

These enriching experiences would not be possible without the dedication of our teachers. Sincere thanks to Ms. Broderick and Ms. Murphy for giving their time and energy to support the students throughout the trip.
