We are delighted to share that 13 of our student projects have been accepted into the 2026 Stripe Young Scientist Exhibition (@stripeyste)! This January, our students will proudly continue a tradition of nearly 40 years of participation and award-winning success as they travel to the RDS in Dublin to showcase their work and represent both our school and County Clare.
This achievement is especially meaningful for a small rural school like ours. It reflects the incredible breadth of student involvement and the inclusive spirit that defines our community. For the very first time, students from our newly established ASD Class have qualified—an inspiring milestone that highlights the opportunities we are striving to provide for all learners.
Of course, taking part in this prestigious event comes with significant costs. Transport, accommodation, and scientific equipment place a heavy burden on school resources, which have already been stretched by rising energy expenses. While the experience our students gain is truly priceless, we want to ensure that financial barriers never stand in their way.
This is where your support matters. Every contribution—large or small—will directly help cover expenses and make it possible for a wide group of Mary Immaculate students participate fully. Together, we can ensure that our students not only attend but thrive at the Young Scientist Exhibition. Please donate what you can. Every little bit helps. Thank you on behalf of the Parents Association
