Just last Friday Mary Immaculate advanced to this semifinal of the FAI John Murphy Senior Boys Cup after a convincing victory over Nenagh College. Lisdoonvarna made a dream start and went into the break 4 1 up at half time. A competitive and skillful Tipperary side made a valiant effort starting the second half well and scoring twice but Lisdoonvarna's composure and determination finally won out and sealed the derived victory 5 3 in a really entertaining game of football in Lees Rd Ennis. Lisdoonvarna then went on to face Col Muire Buttevant of Cork in the eagerly awaited semi final clash today.

After an unfortunate sequence of events luck was not on our side today however, on many occassions we showed fantastic moments of play and skill.

Mary Immaculate Boys Senior Soccer Team 2022. Final score 4-1. Hard luck Mary Immaculate. ⚽️ We are all extremely proud of just how far you came and undoubtly the future is bright after a long winter and as the resumption of play returns again.

Well done to all the boys involved and thanks for all the effort and commitment that is given by each and every team member. Many thanks also to Mr Slattery Mr Burke and Ms Griffin.
